KEYNOTE
Menachem Oberbaum, MD, is the founder and the retired director of the Center of Integrated Complementary Medicine, Shaare Zedek Medical Center, in Jerusalem, and the retired director of module “Complementary and Alternative Medicine” at the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
He received his MD degree at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Vienna, Austria in 1977 and studied Homeopathy at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Homeopathy, Vienna, Austria.
Achievements
- Chair, Israeli Organization of Homeopathic Physicians (1982-87)
- Vice president and a founding member of GIRI (International Research Group on High Dilution Research) from 1991-1993
- GIRI President 1993-1995.
- Fellow of the Faculty of Homeopathy since 2004.
- Awarded the Hans Reckeweg Award in 2005 for achievements in homo-toxicological research
- Deputy editor of “Homeopathy”, the only homeopathic peer reviewed journal
- Author and coauthor of more than 70 publications published in peer reviewed journals and 5 book chapters.
